Soft Tops

All our soft tops come with full rear and side 1/4 windows made of 1mm UV treated, smoke tinted, medium density PVC, and are fully heat welded. Imported tops have highly polished hard density PVC clear windows which are not UV treated (or not to the standard of ours). Put simply these windows will crack when folded...many years before ours!

Imported hoods have cotton content backings. Cotton shrinks 3—5%, and is subject to rot and mildew (even from condensation), where our tops have a 100% polyester sanitised backing with only the possibility of 1.5% shrinkage over the full lifetime of the hood.

Alternate Textiles are now stocking Ford Capri Hood and MX5 Hoods.  These are fully imported to Australia and are available in Black or Black.
