Rooflining Felt

We stock four basic colours, charcoal, medium grey, light grey and beige. Our product starts at 1500mm wide with the light grey made to 1700mm wide for the Landrover vehicles.  This is available in 50m rolls and we can cut smaller lengths if necessary.

Seating Specials

I’ll admit…this is one area Alternate Textiles is struggling in. We do have a range of seating velours, however they are mainly one-offs and as such we have not sampled the range. The best way is to ask if we have something you are chasing in stock…or send us a sample and we will try to match it…if we do not we’ll let you know. Most of these fabrics are going out the door for under $15/mtr. Ring us and buy a bargain.

Sherpa & Shire

Sherpa and Shire are unique upholstery fabrics made of Marquesa® Lana which are setting new performance standards through the application of innovative chemistry integrating fiber and finish. They are durable, easy to clean, difficult to damage, and their colours remain fresh and vivid.

Things that don’t matter: Sun, stains, dirt, grease, and harsh cleaning agents.  

Things that don’t happen: Pilling, fuzzing and fraying.  

Sherpa and Shire have great tensile strength, so they won’t break. They have superior abrasion resistance, so they just last and last. The colour and fibre are integral. Colours go all the way through the fibre. Colours are uniform, dye lot to dye lot, so there will never be a matching discrepancy.

Transport Velvet

Designed specifically for Mack and Kenworth, this hard wearing velour style fabric is perfect for replacing truck seats, tractor seats, and even forklift seats. Available in six modern colours, this is an item every trimmer should have in stock for those off the street jobs.

Tex Mesh

Plastic coated mesh in many colours, useful for outdoor furniture, roll down windows for letting the breeze through.

This 1600mm wide product can also be used in the domestic market for screening.
